Like our neckties, these scarves are handmade from 10 oz. “Reiver weight” hard finished 100% pure wool. Being both lightweight and wind resistant, they’re uniquely suited to three season wear. They can be snugged tightly around the neck for warmth when out-of-doors or loosened and used as an indoor fashion or accent item. The colors complement a wide variety of clothing styles, fabric textures and social applications. These scarves are equally appropriate for both men and women.

Made from heavier “kilt weight” (16 oz.) wool fabric than our standard Three Season scarf, this is the one to have when the mercury drops out the bottom of the glass. Providing a very positive seal from chin to chest, it can be wrapped higher over the mouth and nose for further wind and snow resistance. Generally considered too warm for indoor wear, the construction differs from our standard scarf by being fringed on all four edges. The half inch length fringe at the ends offers sharp fashion flair but the short (1/8 inch) edge fringing helps stimulate the blood flow that stokes the body’s natural furnace.
