For added durability, the stunning Maine State Tartan© facing has been backed with the same strong navy blue canvas that we use in our popular tote bags. One of the most common remarks about our pillows is “they smell stronger and more balsamy” than others. That’s because we use 100% Maine balsam fir with no fillers. Each large pillow is stuffed with ½ pound of Maine balsam fir. Nothing else.
